About the role


We are seeking a bright and ambitious Hong Kong qualified Senior Associate level lawyer (who is tri-lingual in mandarin, cantonese and english) with litigation experience of over five (5) years post qualification to join one of aviation team in our Hong Kong office.

You will work alongside a senior level partner who focuses on all aspects of aviation matters including regulatory, commercial, property damage, insolvency and enforcement matters, contingency planning, incident/accident response, health and safety prosecutions, multi-jurisdictional catastrophe and attritional loss handling.

We are looking for candidates with strong litigation/ contentious legal experience, who have a strong knowledge/ understanding of international conventions, are familiar with court/ jurisdictional process and have acted for international clients in multiple jurisdictions.

Examples of matters include:


Responding to incidents, accidents and other events in Hong Kong and regionally;
Advising on criminal/health and safety charges and defending prosecutions in Hong Kong;
Appearing at Commissions of Inquiry and Coroner's inquests in Hong Kong;
Handling civil claims and disputes in Hong Kong and regionally;
Handling civil proceedings and arbitrations in Hong Kong and regionally.
