The Firm's Atlanta Office seeks an Associate with 3-4 years of insurance coverage experience to work with their insurance coverage practice group. This practice focuses on complex insurance coverage counseling and disputes as well as representing insurers in bad faith litigation.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Drafting pleadings; motions with supporting briefs; and mediation statements
Drafting formal reports and other communication to clients
Preparing formal correspondence to opposing counsel and other parties
Analyzing insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and providing coverage recommendations for clients
Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
Drafting written discovery requests, including interrogatories and document demands
Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation
Attending depositions, hearings, and mediations as required
Submitting filings to the court
Education and Experience

J.D./LLM
Admitted to practice in Georgia, additional admissions a plus
Insurance coverage experience
Litigation experience
Skills and Ability

Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
