The role

The work involves some of the largest and most complex real estate transactions in the marketplace. The team advises clients on a wide variety of high-profile UAE and regional real estate investment, development and finance transactions. Additionally our hospitality work covers a comprehensive range of legal services including advising national and international hotel owners, operators and franchisors in the acquisition, development, finance, management and branding of hotel properties and serviced apartments.

Candidate requirements


• Strong academic background and training from a recognised international firm/practice

• At least 6+ years' Real Estate experience gained at a reputable law firm. Hospitality experience would be advantageous.

• An ability and willingness to work on both contentious and non-contentious matters is essential.

• Confidence and enthusiasm in interactions

• A real interest in marketing/business development and the ability to foster long term relationships

• A willingness to assume responsibility and take a pro-active and commercial approach to issues

• Ability to work in a team and autonomously

• Driven, enthusiastic and flexible team player

• Flexible to travel within the region

Our Real Estate & Hospitality team offers market leading knowledge and a fully comprehensive service working with clients both regionally and internationally. The team is led by a Band 1/Tier 1 Partner ranked by Legal 500 and Chambers Directories for Real Estate since 2006. We negotiate and draft commercial contracts for major residential, retail/commercial and industrial developments and advise on real property rights and property investment, operation and management throughout the region. Our transactional work includes leasing and portfolio management, development strategy and assistance (including joint venture arrangements), as well as the full range of property advisory services. Our hospitality work covers a comprehensive range of legal services including advising national and international hotel owners, operators and franchisors in the acquisition, development, finance, management and branding of hotel properties and serviced apartments.
